I had so much fun painting these two sweeties... and they made me yearn for a day when I might be able to go to Africa to see this beautiful wilderness in all it's terrifying and overwhelming glory... I have always had a fondness for giraffes.... and if you ever want to feel short, just stand next to one of them!!! So incredible that there are so many variations of the spots on the giraffes... i was checking out a different photo of one that someone else took and the spots were different and not smooth like the ones of these two. Very fascinating, these gentle creatures. I am already onto my next project! I can't wait!!!
