Sparrow Watch

5x4 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper done this afternoon of a pair of house sparrows surveying their world.  I put an abstract cool background in with some strokes for repetition of feather shapes.  Daniel Smith pigments were used:  Quinacridone burnt orange/gold, carbazole violet, manganese and Prussian blue, raw sienna, indigo.
