Eastern Bluebird-youngster

© AnnHoffpauir
This little guy actually was raised in our yard.  I have posted the parent Eastern bluebirds earlier.  This one is trying out his wings, what there are of them.  It takes a few more days for the baby bluebirds to completely grow feathers.  Then they look a whole lot like the parents.  But the parents, mostly the male, will still bring them food.  That's what parents do, repetition, repetition until they get it, even in the animal world.  This Eastern bluebird painting went to the Texas Bluebird Society.
