Two Gents and a Lady

I just love water. I love animals in and around water. And although ducks are a normal occurance for many people, I only get to see them when I go someplace to see them. I so enjoy watching the birds interact on the water, really, any kind of wildlife interaction is interesting to watch, because like humans, they all have personalities. I almost titled this one "I'm taken", haha, because this gent was quite firm about the fact that she was with HIM, while the other gent there kept eyeing her, and she stuck near her man!! It is fun to see the similarities between the males and female ducks, the hidden colors that are the same. They are quite curious animals, watching us, hoping for a handout, which I did give after photographing them!! it took me several photo references for this, and so the challenge was well worth it. And let me tell you, it was the middle of January when I took the photos for this painting, and my fingers were just alittle tiny bit frozen by the time I was done!!! I am looking forward to a few more of these when I get a chance!!
