You have to look for the deer in this painting. Some viewers don't see them right away. Actually, that's the way it is in nature. So I decided to paint a scene with deer almost in plain sight. Deer can almost be right in front of you and you missed seeing it. I bet some deer hunters have a few stories of their own.
