This wildlife bayou painting was done at a very good friends home. He lives on the bayou and has all kinds of wildlife that he can observe often. While painting this scene the Great Blue Heron landed across the way from me. He was very intent on whatever was in the water near him. He caught something but I could not tell what it was. It was a great day.
